Workers Play Training Workers Play Training

Interplay provides training for all of its employees and volunteers. In addition employees can take part in training provided by the Local Authorities with play and leisure workers from other agencies.

Workers Play Training

The aim of sending our workers to this joint training is to:

Interplay can provide a training service for other organisations/community groups in order to promote the ideas and methods of Interplay and to increase incoming funds to the project.

The training organised by the City and County of Swansea is usually 3 days of playtraining for the leisure services workers and Interplay workers. Additionally there is a one day First Aid training and one day Leaders training. Interplay staff also get a specific one day course run by us.

The training provided by the Borough County of  Neath Port Talbot playworkers is usually a two and a half day course with an additional half day First Aid.

A further day specifically for staff from community leisure centres has been held in Penyrheol in Gorseinon, this is a single day as opposed to the 2 day training held in Neath Port Talbot.
