WEEKEND CHOOSEDAYS

As with summer Choosedays, the idea behind weekend Choosedays is choice, but in this case the activities happen over a 2 day period, (not necessarily over a weekend, it could be during a half term or other holiday and the choices are a little more limited. This is how they work:

Each Chooseday has a theme, it could be sports, arts, drama, crafts, outdoor pursuits etc. but within each of the Choosedays there is an element of choice. Whatever the theme there should be a choice of workshops going on at any one time that the young people can opt into, with the workshops repeated to allow young people to get involved with activities they missed.

In the past Chooseday weekends have been involved in archery, gorge walking, assault courses, pottery, dance and drama, kite making, scrap monster puppets, carnivals and much more.

There are ten of these Choosedays per year, stopping during the summer to allow the Summer Choosedays to take over.
